Revant was looking to fill out their visual brand identity with a secondary pattern that expressed their motto "Built for Adventure."
I pulled inspiration from the natural environments surrounding the company's home in Portland, Oregon. Combining the major mountains (Hood, Jefferson, and Bachelor), the tumultuous waves of the Oregon coast, and contour topography lines the Sea to Summit graphic was created.
Versatility was a key aspect of the design requirements for this pattern as it needed to be something that could be applied to packaging, apparel, and UI design.
I implemented the pattern across lens boxes, the insert card, and microfiber cloth suglass bag.
By applying the pattern to the packaging with a subtle spot gloss it revealed an ethos that brought the packaging to life.
To create a full cohesive story the pattern was applied to the outer shipper boxes for all products.
